About Us

Hawkesbury City Eisteddfod

The Hawkesbury City Eisteddfod was founded in 1952 and has been a steady presence in the arts community ever since. It has grown to become a significant event with approximately 7000 performers aged from 5-99 yrs participating each year.

Held annually from July to September, the Hawkesbury City Eisteddfod enables young performers to gain confidence and experience in a friendly atmosphere, taking home a written critique from an expert in the field.

The categories include Vocal, Pianoforte, Instrumental, Speech, Dance, Dance Troupes, and School & Community events.  School events are well supported by Bands/Ensembles, Dance groups, Choral, and Verse Speaking Choirs.

The venue is the Windsor Function Centre.
